We approach ADA Transition Plans and other compliance work in a way that ties their findings and recommendations to a community's goals and vision. We do not view them as a checkbox exercise.
We have conducted over 20 transition plans and other ADA compliance projects in seven states across the United States. This includes plans and compliance reviews for sidewalks and pathways, public buildings, parks, recreation facilities, parking/EV charging and public housing.
We explore the needs of people beyond simply meeting ADA requirements, as achieving goals for universal design often mean exceeding the minimum standards. We also explore with local stakeholders the needs of people with disabilities that are not considered with the current ADA Standards and PROWAG.
